Call Mom is currently seeking a server at La Dolce Vita -- an upscale homage to the classic Italian-American restaurant. La Dolce Vita is so steeped in Hollywood lore that it once could name Frank Sinatra as both investor, and biggest fan. With perfectly executed food and a nostalgic chic interior, hospitality and service lead the way for an entirely new generation to call it theirs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and polished dining experience.
• Have a deep understanding of wine and wine service. Sommelier certifications are a plus.
• Greet guests promptly, guide them through the menu, and make recommendations on dishes, and cocktails based on guest preferences. 
• Perform polished wine service. 
• Demand excellence from themselves and their team mates everyday by always seeking ways to improve. 
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address requests or concerns proactively, and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Provide warm and personalized service, especially for returning or VIP guests, maintaining a professional yet warm demeanor.
• Perform duties as required by management.
• Be able to move, stand, bend, lift, walk, kneel, and climb steps for duration of shift.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures as outlined by the management team.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings to review menu changes, specials, and any specific guest requests.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Wine service experience
• Must have experience in a guest contact position. 
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Experience with Toast preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
