Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital imaging systems.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures.
- Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, and facility-specific imaging protocols.
- Educate patients about the exam process and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information and image documentation.
- Perform routine quality control checks and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography imaging preferred.
- Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, imaging techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Willingness to take on travel assignments at various clinical locations.
