We are a trauma-focused outpatient treatment center serving both adults and adolescents. About the Role:
This remote, part-time role invites a licensed mental health therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or Psy.D.) with expertise in trauma and substance use. In this position, you will work with individuals in a telehealth setting, providing therapy that addresses trauma, teaches healthy coping mechanisms, and supports clients in overcoming behavioral challenges. As a therapist on our team, you'll have access to professional development resources and trauma-specific training, such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT, to help you continue to grow in your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct telehealth therapy sessions (individual, group, and family) for individuals with trauma, mental health, and substance use challenges
Use evidence-based methods to deliver high-quality care to clients
Provide support and guidance in managing crises, improving communication, and developing resilience
Collaborate with treatment providers and community resources to offer comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans
Work closely with other clinicians and the clinical director to ensure the best outcomes for clients
Adhere to licensing and professional standards
Qualifications:

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
Valid and unrestricted LMFT, LCSW, or Psy.D. license in California
Prior experience as a mental health therapist
Experience working with PTSD and complex trauma preferred
Familiarity with military populations (active duty, veterans, and families) is a plus
Training in EMDR preferred (training can be provided)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
