PMO Intern
Working in this role, you will help us organize and maintain order across our client engagements. Your work will focus directly on our current regional distribution tracking project. When a system migration happens or data routing rules change, small project details can easily fall through the cracks. You will act as the coordinating gear that prevents these gaps. This position is not about managing high-level project management frameworks or building abstract slides. Rather, you will keep track of active task backlogs, clear up documentation roadblocks, and verify that the specific integration issues we identify are actually fixed. You will work closely with our operational consultants and technical team members to ensure we deliver on our project milestones on time. What you will be doing
- Organize and refine the project backlog so each task has clear technical details and a defined operational owner.
- Review daily task updates and cross-check status logs to verify that outstanding routing rules and integration gaps are resolved.
- Draft clear, step-by-step documentation and standard operating procedures for the systems we hand back to clients.
- Help coordinate weekly project check-ins, capturing concrete technical action items rather than generic status notes.
- Verify pipeline data reconciliations alongside our analysts to ensure client billing records match the newly built flows.
- Translate technical discussion points from team logs into clear, written updates for the client project board.
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to summarize technical tasks into clear, plain English.
- High attention to detail, especially when checking project boards, tracking spreadsheets, and documentation for small errors.
- Strong organizational skills, with a natural inclination to keep lists, folders, and backlogs structured and searchable.
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheets, including actions like sorting data sets cleanly and using simple formulas.
- A practical, problem-solving mindset that prefers looking at the actual ground truth of a task over abstract theories.
- A collaborative spirit ready to work in our hybrid routine, balancing quiet independent work with active team alignment.
- Previous exposure to tools like Jira, Trello, or other task tracking software.
- Basic understanding of how business operations work, whether from academic coursework or personal projects.
- Some experience writing documentation, reports, or detailed guides.
- This is a paid internship position offering highly competitive compensation for entry-level roles.
- Direct exposure to real, practical systems engineering and operational consulting.
- Mentorship from senior operations experts who value direct feedback and hands-on teaching.
- A hybrid work environment that offers the flexibility to work from home alongside focused, in-person collaboration days.
- Hands-on experience with modern collaboration and project management tools in a professional setting.
- A clear pathway to build a career in technical project management or operations consulting.
We believe that clean systems start with clean communication. At Tech Pipeline, we value documentation and ground truth over long, unfocused meetings. Most of our progress is shared through structured weekly updates and written documentation, allowing everyone to work with deep focus. Our hybrid model lets us balance this focused, independent work with dedicated collaborative sessions where we map out complex client data flows together. We don't write abstract strategy memos: we fix real problems, build clear standard operating procedures, and hand over sustainable systems that our client teams can confidently run on their own.
