In this role, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring PACU patients recovering from anesthesia, evaluating respiratory status and hemodynamics, managing pain control and airway equipment, and ensuring safe transfers to inpatient units or discharge. You’ll perform accurate assessments, facilitate early mobilization, provide patient and family education, document meticulously in the electronic medical record, and participate in postoperative rounds with surgeons and anesthesia colleagues.
