Your mission

Create a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by owning HVAC performance across the facility and supporting APM operations and maintenance at the O&M site.

How you’ll contribute

HVAC & Facility Operations

• Conduct routine service and repairs on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC performance issues to optimize uptime and efficiency.
• Respond to facility service requests and emergencies with urgency and care.
• Keep meticulous records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Keep pace with evolving HVAC technologies, standards, and best practices.
• Work closely with facility teams to maintain a safe and comfortable workplace.

APM & Technical Systems

• Operate and maintain the APM system and its subsystems at the O&M site.
• Troubleshoot failures, pinpoint causes, and initiate appropriate repairs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle and wayside systems, subsystems, and components.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair Central Control computer consoles, wayside systems, or assigned vehicle components.
• Inspect vehicles and related equipment to identify failures or improper operation.
• Operate trains, doors, guideway switches, and the power distribution system in manual mode when required.
• Conduct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic inspections per established procedures or instructions.
• Replace or repair defective parts using manuals, drawings, specifications, and verbal guidance.
• Support recovery of malfunctioning vehicles and restore operations during system failures.
• Assist passengers and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Complete comprehensive preventive maintenance on vehicles, systems, and subsystems.
• Earn and maintain all required functional certifications.
• Engage in continuous training and improvement activities.

What makes you a fit

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical certification preferred.
• Experience as an HVAC technician or comparable hands-on role.
• Expertise with HVAC tools, systems, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and apply technical manuals and blueprints.

• Clear communicator who works well within a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
