Temporary Receptionist
We are seeking a friendly and welcoming temporary Receptionist to join the growing Workplace Experience team in our LA Office. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and guests when they arrive at A24, ensuring everyone who comes through our doors feels welcomed and has an impeccable visit. Other job duties include answering phones and emails, data entry, organizing files, and other administrative responsibilities. This role is also responsible for monitoring office supplies and ordering more when necessary to ensure a sufficient supply remains. We seek candidates with some administrative experience but may be willing to train the right person.
This role is expected to last a minimum of six (6) months and has a 5-days a week in office requirement.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome office visitors, offering refreshments and meeting other needs
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail deliveries and packages
- Assist in planning in-office events, meetings, and luncheons
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, presentable, and stocked
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges, etc.)
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Monitor corporate credit cards, track receipts, and generate expense reports for corporate card purchases
- Supporting Workplace Experience Manager with grocery ordering
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Customer Service Focused

Our target hourly range for this role is between $20 to $22. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
