Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Area Coordinator and Assistant Area Coordinator, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for all facets of the California Military Department (CMD) facilities maintenance and minor Sustainment, Renovation, and Modernization (SRM) projects within the six counties that cover: San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Imperial, and San Diego counties.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• Experience working with work order systems such as Legacy, Web Works, Azzier, etc.
• Ability to use computers including typing, utilizing search engines, and operating Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willing to work in a Military environment.
