LiveHappy, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join our team to lead a large indoor cultivation facility project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems. Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations, particularly in the context of cultivation facilities. Excellent leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring the successful completion of projects. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT REFERENCES. Commercial building experience is also a must. A requirement that candidate must be comfortable working with 480 volts in a large indoor cultivation facility.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee and manage electrical projects specific to large indoor cultivation facilities, from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of electrical foremen and apprentices, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment tailored to the unique demands of cannabis cultivation facilities.

Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on job sites, especially those relevant to cannabis facilities, to maintain a secure work environment.

Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality standards in electrical installations and repairs, including lighting systems, HVAC controls, and environmental monitoring equipment.

Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize waste in the context of facility construction.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the management team and team members, particularly regarding the specialized electrical needs and challenges of indoor cultivation

Training and Development: Identify training needs for team members specific to the electrical requirements of cultivation facilities and facilitate ongoing skill development to enhance overall team performance.

Additional Responsibilities for Cannabis Facility:

• Design and installation of specialized lighting systems optimized for plant growth, including LED, HPS, and hybrid systems.
• Implementation of climate control systems to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and airflow for plant cultivation.
• Integration of environmental monitoring and control systems to ensure consistent growing conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration with other trades to coordinate electrical requirements with plumbing, HVAC, and irrigation systems.

• A requirement that candidates must be comfortable working with 480 volts in a large indoor cultivation facility.

• A note that candidates should have a background in controls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the context of cannabis facility construction.
• Must be able to read blueprints and understand electrical plans tailored to indoor cultivation environments.
• Must be able to effectively manage 15+ employees in a specialized electrical construction environment.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, codes, and regulations.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on fostering teamwork and collaboration in a specialized industry.

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace, with an understanding of the unique hazards and regulations associated with large controlled indoor environments.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software is a plus.

On-Call Availability:

The Senior Electrician will be required to be on call for emergencies and urgent situations outside of regular working hours, specifically related to electrical systems. This entails being available to respond promptly to any electrical issues that may arise, including power outages, equipment failures, or environmental control system malfunctions, to minimize disruption to cultivation operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Senior Electrician at LiveHappy, LLC you will be a key member of our electrical services team, responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of electrical projects. Your expertise in power tools, schematics, high voltage, NEC regulations, low voltage systems, blueprint reading, frame carpentry, and industrial electrical work will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects.Duties:* Utilize power tools and equipment to build and install electrical systems according to specifications.* Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations.* Handle high-voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols and NEC regulations.* Work on low-voltage systems for various applications.* Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed for electrical installations.* Apply industrial electrician skills to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues.* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.* Proven experience as an electrician with expertise in power tools, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical work.* Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards for working with high-voltage systems.* Proficiency in low-voltage system installations and troubleshooting.* Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.* Experience in frame carpentry tasks related to electrical work is a plus.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Benefits:* Competitive salary commensurate with experience.* Health insurance benefits package available.* Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company
