The Product Team

The Role

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our solutions within the eCommerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online sales and advertising channels (e.g., eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, search, affiliate). You'll drive strategic product initiatives, work with cross-functional teams, and help shape the future of our integration technology solutions to provide exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of key product areas, ensuring a high-quality product experience.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, industry shifts, and customer needs.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, design, sales, and customer support to define product requirements based on market insights and business goals.
Break down complex projects into smaller, manageable tasks, continuously enhancing customer value with each iteration.
Communicate business outcomes and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
Prioritize the feature backlog and allocate resources to ensure timely, high-impact product releases.
Write comprehensive Stories and Epics, communicating all relevant details to the development team during planning and grooming sessions.
Partner with the Design team to create prototypes for new features.
Gather feedback from platform users and key stakeholders to assess the viability of new features before development begins.
Showcase new features to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers.
Manage product and sprint backlogs in Jira, ensuring clarity and up-to-date information.
Analyze and measure the impact of product enhancements, continuously optimizing performance.

Key Requirements

5+ years of experience in Product Management.
Proven expertise in developing and managing products in the eCommerce industry, with a strong understanding of platforms, technologies, and market dynamics.
In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following:
eCommerce platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Shopify)
Advertising platforms (e.g., Google Shopping, Facebook)
Marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer-centric innovation.
Familiarity with the lifecycle of products in relation to catalogs, inventory management, product listings, and order management.
Strong track record of leading successful product initiatives and driving growth in a fast-paced environment.
Technical background or strong technical orientation, capable of engaging with engineers to understand different technologies and solutions.
Strong UX instincts and the ability to collaborate with design and research teams.
Excellent communication skills with a talent for negotiating and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to influence and foster collaboration, even when differing viewpoints exist.
Curious, with a passion for exploring new ideas and solutions.
Ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Educational Requirements

BA/BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Range: $101,000-$170,000 USD (Actual salary will depend on location, experience, and qualifications).
