In this role, you'll play a key part in bringing client projects from initial concept to successful delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You'll be the cornerstone of project success, working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. With your strong organizational and leadership skills, you'll keep everyone aligned and focused on delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the sales team to ensure project briefs are comprehensive and clearly communicate project scope, client requirements, restrictions, and budget constraints, creating a seamless handoff to internal teams.
Collaborate with the costing team to process quotes efficiently and accurately.
Coordinate with the R&D team to ensure submissions are progressing as planned, within budget, and aligned with client expectations, while managing any necessary course corrections.
Work with purchasing and operations teams to guarantee on-time delivery of raw materials and components for pilots or first production runs. Actively participate in or lead kickoff, first fill, and post-production review meetings.
Team up with Customer Service to ensure the smooth coordination of initial product runs.
Proactively update stakeholders and leadership on project status, financial health, risks, and mitigation strategies, ensuring clear communication across teams.
Identify and resolve potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources, and timelines in collaboration with leadership and the PD team.
Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and align workload with organizational goals.
Support the continuous improvement of the product development process by sharing insights, updating tools, and enhancing team workflows.
Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of product development, from initial concept to product delivery, while meeting time and budget goals.
Foster a high-performance culture within the product development team, driving accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, business development, or project management, ideally in manufacturing or packaging for cosmetics, personal care, food, or pharmaceutical products.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail under tight deadlines.
Proven experience leading and managing multiple projects through complete development lifecycles.
In-depth knowledge of product development and contract manufacturing processes.
Strong critical thinking skills, integrity, and confidence, with the ability to balance competing business considerations and priorities.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive processes and people without direct authority.
Comfort interacting with all levels of employees, both internally and externally.
Self-starter with the ability to make decisions independently and handle ambiguity with ease.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level or higher.
Flexibility to adapt work hours based on business or client priorities.
Ability to work onsite in a collaborative environment.
