Call Center Customer Service Representative
Atlas Disposal Industries is a leading, independently owned waste management company with over 25 years of experience serving communities in California, Utah, and Arizona. As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting both residential and commercial customers by providing prompt, professional assistance via phone, email, and text. This in-office, full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions help preserve the environment and support local communities. Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services through phone, email, and text messaging
- Assist customers with account management, including service changes, billing questions, cancellations, and missed pickups
- Accurately complete forms and data entry to ensure correct billing and account adjustments
- Generate credit and debit memos as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer needs efficiently
- Work as part of a team to achieve collective customer service goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (phone, email, text)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
- Bilingual in Spanish or Russian is a plus
- Sales experience is desired
- Experience in the waste industry is a plus
Compensation
$20.00- 22.00 per hour (non-exempt, hourly)
