Field Service Tech - Palmdale, CA

I wanted to inform you that we have a new hiring need for a  Field Service Technician.

The position is the same one you are already familiar with but this time the location is in  Palmdale, CA.

It is very important for us that the candidate meets the following requirements:

• Associates degree or technical certification in related field or higher preferred Computer Science, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering Bachelor Degree.
• At least 5 years ofexperience in similar positions, prefeably commissioning and services 5-axis machines used for the aeronautics industry.
• Experience with CNC Software Siemenes Sinumerik – Sinumerik Operate
• Experience with PLC Software Siemens TIA Portal V15.
• Experience using CNC & PLC Software for troubleshooting alarms and know how to trace alarms to find root cause.
• Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to re-build cables connectors like ethernet, Profibus, power cables, Harting connectors.
• Experience with the alignment of a 5-axis cnc machine with the help of a Renishaw laser interferometer, granites and dial indicator or with a laser tracker.
• Ability to perform disassembly, replacement and adjustment of mechanical components.
• Ability to replace plug and play modules.
• Experience with C++ programming with Visual Studio code.
• Ability to work with database SQL Server Management Studio.

Working conditions:

Weekdays – First shift: MON-THU 5:00 am to 3:30 pm

Weekdays – Second shift: MON-THU 3:00 am TO 1:30 pm

Weekend: FRI-SUN 5:30 am to 4:00 pm

We can adjust the salary range we can offer to the candidate if brings the experience/knowledge we require.

But it is prefereable that the candidate lives in Palmdale or nearby.
