Machinist/Aerospace

We are seeking a Machinist/Aerospace candidate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Valencia, CA. This is an excellent role for an entry-level or early-career CNC machinist who wants to grow in aerospace and defense manufacturing while developing hands-on experience with precision components, CNC equipment, deburring, grinding, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Perform deburring, grinding, and finishing operations to meet aerospace quality standards.
- Inspect machined parts for accuracy using measuring tools and approved inspection methods.
- Maintain equipment, work areas, and production documentation according to shop standards.
- Follow safety procedures and support efficient, high-quality production workflow.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate CNC machines to support production of precision aerospace components.
- Perform deburring, grinding, finishing, and part inspection.
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Support quality, safety, and production documentation requirements.

- Entry-level to less than 1 year of machining or CNC experience.
- Basic understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Ability to use or learn measuring tools and inspection methods.
- Ability to follow written instructions, safety procedures, and shop standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn in a hands-on aerospace manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior exposure to aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
- Experience with deburring, grinding, or finishing machined components.
- Familiarity with blueprints, GD&T basics, calipers, micrometers, or other inspection tools.
- Trade school, technical training, or coursework in machining, CNC, or manufacturing technology.
