C3 AI has an opening for a Senior Procurement Manager located onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for ensuring cost - efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, and strategic sourcing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, supplier relationships, and cost management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement policies and strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives


• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements. Identify opportunities for competitive bidding and process improvements.


• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability. Oversee robust supplier selection processes using market analysis, precise RFPs, and data-driven methods.


• Process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.


• Track, analyze, and report on procurement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.


• Optimize procurement processes for cost savings and efficiency.


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to align procurement with project needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.


• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software - Coupa is a plus.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.

California Base Pay Range

$148,000—$184,000 USD
