Assembler
2nd Shift Assembler
Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing medical devices.
This is a contract-to-hire position, and while it may take longer than anticipated to become permanent, it offers a great opportunity for growth and skill development.
Candidates must be flexible with their availability, as work may be required on Saturdays and may start earlier than scheduled shift times.
Essential Skills:
- Microscope experience
- Small part assembly experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with microscope 90% of the shift
- Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with medical device assembly
- Cleanroom experience
- Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and test equipment
- Ability to work with small parts, particularly catheters
Additional Information:
- *All candidates MUST be open to overtime during the weekdays and open to working Saturdays when needed.
- Overtime can start an hour BEFORE the shift time.
- 2nd shift start time is either 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm
Pay:
- Assembler I: $19.50 (1 year of manufacturing w/microscope) + $1.50 Shift Differential
- Assembler II: $21.00 (1 year+ medical device w/microscope) + $1.50 Shift Differential
- Overtime as needed before shift and Saturdays

Work Environment:
- The work environment is a manufacturing setting where you will be working 100% of the time in a cleanroom.
- You will be stationed in close proximity to other team members and will be using various tools and equipment, including microscopes and measuring tools.
- Flexibility in shift timings is required, including potential Saturday work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
