Director, International Finance & Strategy Our client, a consumer-focused technology and services company, is seeking a Director of International Finance to support its growing global operations. Location: This position is primarily remote in the Bay Area, with occasional travel for in-person collaboration in Orange County. Job Description: This highly visible leadership role will partner closely with international business leaders to drive strategic growth, financial planning, market expansion initiatives, and operational performance across multiple regions. The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A expertise, international business acumen, and the ability to influence decision-making in a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities: Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities for international business operations Partner with regional business leaders to support growth initiatives, market expansion strategies, and operational decision-making Develop financial models, business cases, and strategic analyses to evaluate opportunities and investments across global markets Monitor financial and operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive profitability and efficiency Support new market entry initiatives, business development activities, and international growth strategies Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other business teams to align financial objectives with overall company goals Lead and develop team members while ensuring high-quality execution of key finance deliverables Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting, planning, and analytical capabilities across international operations Requirements: 15 years of progressive finance experience within complex, multi-entity or global organizations Strong experience supporting international business operations, strategic planning, and financial decision-making Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence strategy across multiple regions and functions Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, and business partnering skills Experience leading teams in a global environment and collaborating across international time zones; knowledge of international finance and tax considerations is a plus Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual’s skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
