Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position supporting an Epic conversion, requiring CA licensure, dual Cerner and Epic experience, and a minimum of 3 years of ER experience.

• Emergency Department (ER) setting
• Day shift schedule
• 8-week contract supporting an Epic EMR conversion
• Both Cerner and Epic EMR experience are required for this role

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience required
• Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
• Minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Cerner experience also required
• Active, unrestricted license with no prior hits required
• Two supervisor references required — one from the past year and one from within the past two years

Additional Information

• This is an Epic conversion contract — candidates must be comfortable navigating both Cerner and Epic environments
• No RTO (time off) will be approved for this contract; candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
• Orientation available on either of two dates in early August
