IT Portfolio Manager

Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an IT Portfolio Manager within our IT Business Office. This is a high profile role as this role represents Tech in all PMO and planning discussions. Our Business Office team builds the financial and human capital infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our company. This is a unique opportunity to join our team and help Cetera improve efficiencies, save money, and work effectively with our vendors. As part of the role, you will monitor, report and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives, and make recommendations on changes as well as maintain workforce reporting to support the human capital across our organization. Partnering with strategic groups across the organization, you will facilitate capital planning, capacity evaluations, manage a special projects budget, and support leadership initiatives.
What you will do:
- Run capacity reporting and interact with product/project teams to ensure portfolio delivery
- Assist in annual portfolio planning and analysis in partnership with Finance, Strategy, and the Project Organization
- Conducting impact and estimation festival at launch of every project
- Conducting monthly portfolio review with CIO and DRs
- Coordinating OCNI with PMO, Corporate Finance, and IT Finance
- Facilitating and tracking of business in partnership with PMO, Corp Finance, and Corp planning
- Managing Tech/Portfolio Enhancements budget including prioritization, budgeting, tracking, and forecasting for leadership review monthly
- Deliver resource & impact planning across organization to understand project timing, resource constraints, and potential costs
- Partner with teams across organization to document and improve processes; partner with IT to automate unnecessary manual procedures
- Support Manager generation of Quarterly Business reporting across Organization
- Manage reporting and resource tracking modules to support planning
- Working with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement where the team can simplify or automate manual processes, reduce risk, and improve customer experience
- Partnering with stakeholders and leaders to prioritize automation projects
What you need to have:
- BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Solid process improvement, finance, and operational knowledge
- Experience building SOPs and senior leadership communications
- At least 6 years of experience with Excel and Powerpoint

Compensation Range:
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
