Desired experience includes education and/or work experience in urban planning, real estate economics, public finance, fiscal impact analysis, and regional economic analysis. EPS consultants must have the ability to work with a range of quantitative methods. We rely on our analytics to solve problems that require strategic thinking. Consultants are expected to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and the public through speaking engagements and written deliverables. EPS is hiring for an Associate Consultant. The Associate will collaborate with EPS Principals, staff and collegial firms, to complete consulting assignments by applying a range of analytical methods and quantitative models to projects related to pressing urban issues such as affordable housing, equitable urban investment, transit, open space, and more. Our consultants may serve as a Project Manager or technical expert and are directly engaged in project research, data analysis, analytical interpretation, strategic advisory, written deliverables, client communications, and presentations. Consultants also contribute to proposal efforts and internal firm resources. Qualifications and Skills
- Strong problem solving, written and oral communication, and analytical skills;
- Data analysis and spreadsheet modeling skills;
- Interest in economics, land use, urban planning, and community development;
- Knowledge of demographic and economic data;
- Understanding of real estate market and financial analysis; and f amiliarity with GIS/spatial analysis.
- A degree in economics, urban planning, public policy, business, or a related field of study (MS/MA preferred)
- 1-3 years relevant professional experience
- Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and paid time off.
- Associate salaried base compensation ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, dependent on qualifications and experience
- Discretionary annual and quarterly bonuses.
