The Job
If you love turning wrenches and programming building automation systems , this role is for you. Youâll be hands-on with chiller startups, BAS troubleshooting, and retro-commissioning , making buildings run smarter, safer, and more efficiently. This isnât just monitoring alarmsâthis is real engineering in action , onsite.
What Youâll Do
Program, configure, and optimize BAS controllers, devices, and integrations
Start up and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, air handlers, and VAV systems
Perform retro-commissioning and fine-tune building performance
Implement advanced control strategies: resets, staging, sequencing, optimization
Mentor technicians, read mechanical/electrical drawings, and document work
Who You Are
Hands-on BAS engineer who enjoys wrenches and code alike
Experienced with platforms like Alerton, Automated Logic, Distech, or Tridium Niagara
Comfortable leading system startups, troubleshooting, and retro-commissioning
Strong HVAC knowledge: chillers, boilers, CRAC, comfort cooling, VAV systems
Self-motivated, safety-minded, and thrives in a collaborative team
