Overview of Role:

Arcade is seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Research Engineer who will be creating and launching generative AI systems that solve difficult and novel tasks. This person will drive the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate is a researcher with previous experience taking a project from potential concepts to a deployable model, specializing in models that create images from multiple viewpoints, 3D meshes, or CAD-like structures. They will be a strong developer, capable of making and explaining a reusable pipeline for training and running models.

• Create and evaluate novel models for 3D applications
• Understand, implement, and improve existing models 
• Maintain deterministic, repeatable and automatable training scripts 
• Work with teams to deploy new models for inference 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create the right AI systems in order to meet product & business requirements 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and research, and apply them to enhance the performance and capabilities of our ventures
• Communicate complex AI concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Research experience in generative AI, with a proven ability to take projects from concept to deployment.
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and proficiency in Python.
• Experience developing scalable, reusable pipelines for training, validating, and deploying AI models.
• Familiarity with large-scale data handling and the ability to efficiently use data for training AI models.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

• Experience working with generative AI models that solve eCommerce-specific challenges such as recommendation systems, dynamic pricing, or personalized search.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with deploying AI models in cloud environments.
