Product Development Senior Staff Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for the Cloud Data Platform, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic goals.
• Regularly communicate roadmap updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Actively explore and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in cloud data platforms.
• Engage in hands-on exploration of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to inform product development via product specs.
• Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new features and functionalities.
• Champion a user-centric approach to product development, collaborating with design teams to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product decisions.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of the Cloud Data Platform.
• Utilize data to make informed decisions and iterate on the product strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and gather insights for product improvement.
• Act as a customer advocate within the organization.

Experience Required

• At least 7+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications.
• At least 7+ years of experience in Agile software development and scrum team management
• Hands-on experience with exploring and evaluating emerging technologies.
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer engineering field or equivalent.

Eligibilities & qualifications

• Bachelors or master’s in computer science, Information Systems, or an engineering field.
• 7+ years of related experience in developing data solutions, data platform architecture, data warehouses, visualization tools, analytics delivery, and data catalogs.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing data platform products to market.
