Under general direction of the Supervising Property Appraiser in the Assessment Services Unit, the Associate Property Auditor Appraiser researches the more complex property tax issues involving the taxation of business personal property and independently prepares written analyses of findings.

Under direct supervison of the Supervising Property Appraiser in the Assessment Services Unit, the Assistant Property Auditor Appraiser researches the less complex property tax issues involving the taxation of business personal property and independently prepares written analyses of findings.

Working Conditions

• Standard office environment.

• Postion requires employee to maintain a Board of Equalization (BOE) appraiser certification including continuing education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent programs.
• Ability to learn and apply property tax laws and rules.
